Limkokwing changing the corporate and social media landscape

16 selected students from the Limkokwing University London have the opportunity to work for a Social Media Consultancy project with Headshift and Somesso.

Headshift is Europe's leading social business consultancy in London helping organisations use smarter, simpler, social technologies to improve business performance, communication and customer engagement. SOMESSO is a Zurich based corporate social media platform bridging the gap between corporate culture and the ‘web 2.0 society’, showcasing strategies to bring the corporate community closer to the conversations within their markets.

SOMESSO and Headshift are organising the Social Business Summit 2010, Moving beyond the adoption of social tools to consider business impact and implications for organisational design, which will be hosted at the Limkokwing University in London on the 18th March.

Over the next weeks students from the Limkokwing University will work with SOMESSO and Headshift creating case studies about the Imaginary Futures of the corporate environment. Students have the opportunity to work with leading brands such as Dachis Group, IBM, BT and Vodafone amongst others.

Students from various faculties will also help organising the Social Business Summit 2010, which prepares them to gain insights into the future of the corporate environment. Max Schleser, Lecturer in Creative Multimedia, at the Limkokwing University said: “This is an amazing opportunity for our students to engage in shaping and pioneering the future. Students will be exposed to new forms of collaboration and gain insights into customer engagement and creating new market ecosystems.” Through these inputs Limkokwing students are ahead of their time and can take a lead by the time of their graduation.
